THE ENGLISHMAN (2007)
Henry has trouble with intimacy. He watches and listens from his very private world but never gets too close. This private world is forced open thanks to Andrew, a whippet like boy of an apprentice and Svetla, a woman who arrives on his doorstep needing a roof over her head. Henry lets them both in but getting closer is more difficult and it's going to take time. The intimacy that develops propels Andrew into attacking the very thing that could save him. Henry's world collapses and he finds himself alone again in his private world.
